Existing in the same universe as everyone's favorite 'Grey's Anatomy' doctors, 'Station 19' will follow the trials and tribulations of Seattle's heroic firefighters.
The show will start with a dramatic career change for Dr. Ben Warren, played by Jason George. Giving up his white coat at Grey Sloan Memorial Hospital, Warren will put on a new uniform at the Station 19 Firehouse.
Created by Shonda Rhimes, 'Station 19' will have a crossover of characters between the two shows, so it's sure to warm the hearts of 'Grey's' fans everywhere.
ABC Entertainment President Channing Dungey said, “No one can interweave the jeopardy firefighters face in the line of duty with the drama in their personal lives quite like Shonda, and ‘Grey’s’ signature Seattle setting is the perfect backdrop for this exciting spin-off,” according to SimpleMost.
'Station 19' will debut with a two-hour premiere on Thursday, March 22 on ABC.
