An Australian colonial era horror film has stormed the Venice Film Festival and is a favourite to win the Golden Lion for Best Film.
The movie starring Damon Herriman, Sam Claflin and Aisling Franciosi is the only film nominated for an award with a woman director, Jennifer Kent, at this year's festival.
Kent also wrote the screenplay for 'The Nightingale', as she did with her previous film, 'The Babadook'.
Here's what all the fuss is about.
