What's the definition of happiness? If you're trying to sell your home in an Australian suburb, it's getting over the asking price for your home. 

Wealthy suburbs with $1.5 million homes are the most miserable, meaning they end up selling for under their asking price. 

Here are the happiest and most miserable suburbs in Australia, based on Rate My Agent's real estate data.

(Happiest) 10. Mansfield, QLD -

Mansfield, QLD is around 11 km southeast of Brisbane's CBD and where 42% of homes sell above the asking price.

9. Highgate Hill, QLD - As much as 43% of homes in Brisbane's inner suburb of Highgate Hill sell for over the asking price.
