Inspiration - After Ardern turned down the offer to be Coppersmith's subject for this year's Archibald, she decided to do a self-portrait with Ardern as her inspiration.

Partnership - Coppersmith likens portraiture, especially the Archibald, to a strong partnership. "That’s the problem – it’s kind of like asking a total stranger to marry you," she told Foxtel.
