The famous parade blimp of President Donald Trump in baby-form, diaper and all, was the highlight of UK protests earlier this month. The balloon was flown while the US politician was on his official visit to London, but now can you guess where he is headed next? Down under.
While no official dates have been set yet, Australian Prime Minister Malcolm Turnbull has invited Trump for a visit, likely to take place this November. And where the real President goes, his baby balloon counterpart must follow.
“The Trump baby blimp has become this kind of globally recognised symbol of opposition to Trump,” Simone White, the organiser of the blimp, told The Guardian. “We have been in touch with the people that made the blimp and they are actually really keen to have it travel around the world. They’re excited to get the blimp to Australia. Now we’re just in the process of figuring out how to send it, which won’t be too hard.”
Many are anticipating Trump's visit to Australia to insight some of the largest protests the country has seen in a long time.
