The UK singer had just started the second chorus of her song when a stage invader grabbed her microphone. Eurovision fans were shocked at first, but flooded Twitter with compliments about her reaction.

"#SuRie pumped it up even better for being interrupted", tweeted a fan. "SURIE Kept going like the star she is. Feel so sad for her but she carried on like a trooper", said another one. "So proud of Surie!!! Can't think of anyone better to represent us!", added a fan.

It was annouced during Eurovision that SuRie was offered the option to perform again but declined.
