Ian Kiernan - Aussie property developer, yachtsman and environmentalist Ian Kiernan is best known for founding Clean Up Australia and Clean Up the World.

Australian of the Year - He received the Order of Australia in 1991 and was Australian of the Year in 1994. He passed away on October 16.

Lance Thompson - Also known as Big Red, Thompson was known for his contribution to the Dragons and the Sharks throughout his rugby career. 

He played 239 first grade games as a forward, mostly for the Dragons.

Golfer Ian Stanley - The colourful personality and former Australian pro golfer, Stanley passed away in July at age 69. 

The prolific golfer won the tour in Australia and Europe in his professional career.
