Fingers are starting to be pointed inside the international space station as mission control discovered a mysterious hole in the spacecraft which led to a massive drop in air pressure.

According to reports from Radio Canada International, it was revealed that the two-millimetre-wide hole was caused by a drill, which came from the inside the station, and that the drill was held by a wavering hand as there were traces of it sliding along the surface and that several attempts were allegedly made.

The Soyuz MS-09 crew is made up of six international astronauts. German Alexander Gerst of the European Space Agency, Americans Drew Feustel, Ricky Arnold and Serena Auñón-Chancellor of NASA, and Russians Oleg Artemyev and Sergey Prokopyev of Roscosmos.

A Russian federal politician revealed that there was a possibility this incredibly dangerous act was committed by a “mentally unstable member of the ISS crew.”

The hole is currently under investigation by a special international commission.
