It seems like superstar and controversial musician Kanye West might finally be distancing himself from the wild and crazy world of politics.
In a series of Tweets, West explained that he had nothing to do with the new clothing line that was presented over the weekend at the Young Black Leadership Summit in Washington, D.C.
I introduced Candace to the person who made the logo and they didn’t want their name on it so she used mine. I never wanted any association with Blexit. I have nothing to do with it.

The fashion line featured brightly coloured hats and T-shirts with slogans like 'Blexit' and 'We Free' on them, which aims to encourage black voters to exit the Democratic Party just ahead of the US midterm elections on November 6.
He also went on to explain some of the issues he does back and support which include common-sense gun laws, prison reform, job creation, among other things. He concluded with this final tweet:
My eyes are now wide open and now realize I’ve been used to spread messages I don’t believe in. I am distancing myself from politics and completely focusing on being creative !!!

While some took this as a sign of hope that Kanye West is finally done, it is best not to get too excited. According to TMZ, West reached out and emphasized that his tweets said nothing about President Donald Trump, and was only referring to the provocative 'Blexit' clothing line.
