Is Jared Leto's bizarre NYC behavior mocking the fashion industry?
His hoodie says it all
Famed actor Jared Leto was acting quite unusual around New York City recently. From climbing light poles to hanging on crosswalk signs, the 'Blade Runner 2049' star was surely trying to make himself noticed. But why?
While Leto was monkeying around, he was wearing a sweatshirt that is just as interesting as his behaviour. The bright pink hoodie featured the names and salaries of the highest-paid models in the fashion industry.
On the back of the sweatshirt the list read, Kendall Jenner $22 million, Gisele Bündchen $17.5 million, Chrissy Teigen $13.5 million, Adriana Lima $10.5 million, and Gigi Hadid $9.5 million.
The bold fashion statement is apart of a new merchandise line from his band Thirty Seconds To Mars's fall/winter collection.
While fans of the actor and musician aren't sure exactly why he was swinging on street fixtures and revealing the incomes of supermodels, one can guess he was trying to make a statement of some kind. Leto's sweatshirt also had good timing, he donned the hoodie right after NY Fashion week.
